JON CHRISTOPHER DAVIS Magic Town Music Festival is very happy to welcome for his first appearance in San Miguel de Allende this world class singer-songwriter.

Stan Lynch of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers may have said it best – “It’s as if Don Henley, Elvis Presley and the Everly Brothers met late one night at a Texas Roadhouse parking lot and beat the crap out of each other, and what came out was Jon Christopher Davis. He’s brains, hips and harmonies.”

JCD’s songs have been recorded by Dolly Parton, Hal Ketchum, Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sherrie Austin, Rodney Atkins, Tammy Cochran, along with several indie artists. “Little Bird,” recorded by Sherrie Austin, peaked at number 4 on Billboard’s Top Country Singles Sales Chart. His heartland songs and commanding voice are often licensed for television.

Jon Christopher Davis was in born in Dallas on June 27, 1968, is also a record producer whose musical style encompasses country, rock and folk. He’s shared the concert stage with Train, Daughtry, The Roots (Jimmy Fallon’s house band), Michael McDonald, Eddie Money, Lyle Lovett, Rodney Crowell, Radney Foster, Jack Ingram, Hal Ketchum, Poco, Pure Prairie League, Restless Heart, Uncle Kracker, Kansas and REO Speedwagon. Davis has also performed twice for the President of the United States. His music has been featured on/in ABC, CBS, FOX, CMT, the Style Network, Pentagon Network, CW Network, Oxygen Channel, USA Today, Billboard Magazine, Texas Highways, the Washington Post and Huffington Post.

“Crazy’s What I Need” is a new 2016 blockbuster recording with Maylee Thomas. After a solo appearance early in the day, we’ll certainly see Jon and Maylee share the stage on March 11 at the Centro Cultural Santa Maria del Obraje for a fabulous evening performance!
